Ar-Rahmaan Ar-Raheem

The Extremely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

The One Who cares for us, listens to us, answers our prayers, provides for us, nourishes us, strengthens us, gives us and blesses us.

The One Who removes from us our hardships, covers our flaws, comforts us, appreciates our efforts and magnifies our rewards.

The Most Merciful, Most Compassionate, Most Kind, Most Beneficent, Most Gracious.

and My Mercy encompasses all things

Quran Al-A’raaf (The Heights) 7:156

peace and blessings be upon him

Our Lord says about Prophet Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that surely, he is indeed on an excellent standard of character (68:4). Allah has not sent our Prophet except as a mercy to all the worlds (21:107). Some of his qualities are described in this verse: “Surely, there has come to you, from among yourselves, a Messenger. He feels it very hard on him if you face a hardship (i.e. your suffering distresses him); he is very anxious for your welfare (i.e. he is deeply concerned for you), and towards the faithful he is very kind, full of mercy” (9:128). So take the Prophet as your example, for Allah has said, “There is indeed, in the Messenger of Allah, an excellent role model for you, you who hope for (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah with much remembrance.” (33:21)

Parents

How can we talk about our parents, without mentioning their love for us. Their love for us that cannot be weighed. Their kindness towards us that cannot be repaid. Their prayers for us in the night and in the day. Their sacrifices for us, the ones we know of and the ones of which we are so blissfully unaware. This blessing of having parents, only few things can compare. So thank them, honour them, shower them with love. Grant them your best companionship. Pray for them.

May Allah lighten their loads, ease their worries, forgive their mistakes, overlook their faults, magnify their rewards, increase them in goodness, and grant them the highest level of Jannah. May Allah help us to be good to them, to do good by them, to be grateful to them, and always loving to them. Ameen.
