‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin Al-‘As (may Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, “Do not be like so-and-so, O ‘Abdullah! He used to pray during the night, then stopped the practice.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
May Allah keep us steadfast.
Verily, those who say, “Our Lord is Allah”, then continued in the right way, the angels descend upon them, saying, “Fear not, nor be grieved, but receive glad tidings of Paradise which you were promised! We are your guardians in this world’s life and in the Hereafter, and you shall have therein whatever your souls desire, and you shall have therein whatever you request. A provision from the Forgiving, the Merciful.” (Surah Fussilat 41:30-32)
O Allah, help me to remember You, give thanks to You, and worship You in the best way.
